The Wallpaper Hub lets people upload, which means someone will eventually upload work that isn't theirs. This page explains how to get it removed, and what happens to whoever posted it.
If your work is on this site without your permission, send a notice to our copyright agent, listed below. Under US law your notice needs to include all of the following:
A signature, typed is fine, from you or someone authorised to act for you.
Enough detail to identify the work you own.
The address of the material on our site. A link to the wallpaper page is ideal.
How we can reach you: address, phone number, email.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for them.
Formal notices go to our designated agent, registered with the United States Copyright Office:
Resident Agents Inc.
Wisconsin Registered Agent LLC
2800 E. Enterprise Ave, Suite 333
Appleton, WI 54913
Phone: 608-234-4009
Email: agent@wisconsinregisteredagent.net
Copyright Office registration number: DMCA-1078655
Mark anything you send for The Wallpaper Hub. The agent above acts for a number of companies.
You can also email us at thewallpaperhub.org@gmail.com or press Report on any wallpaper. Both reach us sooner, and a report gets something looked at the same day, but a notice to the agent above is what starts the formal process.
We remove or hide reported material promptly, usually the same day. We tell whoever uploaded it what happened and pass on your notice.
You don't have to file a formal DMCA notice to get our attention. Every wallpaper has a Report button, and reports go into a queue a person reads. A proper notice is what's needed for the legal process, but a report gets it looked at.
If your work was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send us a counter-notice with your signature, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, and your contact details plus consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.
We'll pass it to whoever complained. If they don't go to court within ten to fourteen business days, we may put the material back.
Accounts that repeatedly upload other people's work are closed. We keep a record of upheld complaints against each account, and a small number of them ends it. Something blatant can end it the first time.
Filing a knowingly false notice carries real legal liability. Please be sure before you send one.
