Most wallpaper sites hand you one picture at one shape and leave the rest to your phone. We compose the same picture separately for every screen you own, by hand, so it looks right on all of them.
A desktop wallpaper is about twice as wide as it is tall. A phone wallpaper is about twice as tall as it is wide. They are close to opposite shapes, so a picture made for one cannot simply be moved to the other. Something has to be thrown away.
Everywhere else, that decision gets made by accident. You download the one file on offer, your phone centres it and zooms until it fits, and the horizon ends up in the wrong place or the subject slides out of frame. The picture still technically works. It just stops being the picture somebody composed.
A matched set is the same photograph cropped five times, for phone, tablet, laptop, desktop and ultrawide, with each crop placed by the person who took it. All five come from the same full resolution original, so none of them is the compromise version. Put them on your devices and your screens finally look like they belong to the same person.
That is the entire reason this site exists. If you only ever want one wallpaper for one screen, there are a hundred places to get one. Matched sets are the reason to be here.
Right now, almost all of them are mine. I take the photographs, I choose the five crops, and I publish them. Nothing here is pulled from a stock library, scraped from somewhere else, or generated. That matters for an obvious reason and a less obvious one: it means the work is genuinely ours to give away, and it means somebody actually stood there and decided what the picture was about.
Other people can publish here too, and some do. When they do, their name is on it and it links back to them. The rule does not change: it has to be your own work.
Nothing. Every wallpaper downloads at full resolution without paying and without an account. There is no watermark, no locked tier, no “premium” version of the file you already have.
Ads pay for the hosting, the storage and the scanning that keeps the library clean. If you would rather not see them, Hub+ turns them off and raises upload limits. It does not unlock a single thing to download, because nothing is locked.
You keep the copyright in everything you upload. Always. We host it and show it, and that is the whole of what you hand over.
Downloads are licensed for personal use only: someone can put your work on their own screens and that is it. No selling it, no bundling it into apps or packs, no training models on it. Anyone who wants more asks you directly, and whatever you agree is between the two of you. We take no cut and we do not broker it.
That is deliberately narrower than most free wallpaper sites, and it costs us reach. It is also the reason anyone would trust us with their work. The licence sets it out properly.
One person, in Wisconsin. It started because my own screens never matched and every fix I found was worse than the problem: crop it myself and lose the good part, or give up and run two unrelated pictures.
It is early, and it is small. Things will change, some of them awkwardly. If something is broken, slow, or just reads wrong, tell us. At this size every message gets read.
You do not owe this site anything. No account to download, no email before the file arrives, no newsletter you have to escape from afterwards. If you never come back, the wallpaper still works.
What we would like is simpler than a signup. Take the set rather than the single file. Put it on everything. And if a picture renders oddly on whatever unusual screen you own, say so, because that is the sort of thing we cannot find without you.
If you would rather read the fine print, the terms and the privacy policy are short and written to be read. The common questions answer most of what people actually ask.
